On the road in Florida for AirCargo 2010
March 17th, 2010 by Dr. Walter WoolfChampionsGate, adjacent to Orlando, is the venue for this year’s AirCargo2010 gathering of air cargo professionals.
The Monday afternoon drive to ChampionsGate takes you through the strawberry fields of Plant City and its environs: the winter strawberry capital of the United States.
Traffic on I-4 eastbound was heavy, as was its return to Tampa westbound, at the end of the day.
AirCargo2010 is the combined meeting of three air cargo related organizations. The Air Forwarders Association (AfA), the Air & Expedited Motor Carriers Association (AEMCA), and the Express Delivery & Logistics Association (XLA).
Having previously attended the Red Rocks conference in Las Vegas in 2009, we wished to renew old acquaintances and seek new ones as well.
Mission accomplished.
Keeping up with the ever changing air cargo marketplace, the time spent driving to and from ChampionsGate was well worth our while as was our time spent in discussion with industry leaders.
