Pet entry into Malaysia is controlled by an import permit issued by their Ministry, along  with microchip identification, as well proof of Rabies and other immunizations not more than one year prior to entry, and at minimum 30 days prior to entry into the country of Malaysia. The international health certificate is issued within ten (10) days of entry, with USDA export endorsement required for pets originating from the USA and entering either Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
