Pet entry into Malaysia is controlled by an import permit issued by their Ministry, along with:

• microchip identification
• proof of Rabies and other immunizations not more than one year prior to entry, and at minimum 30 days prior to entry into the country of Malaysia
• the international health certificate is issued within ten (10) days of entry, with USDA export endorsement required for pets originating from the USA and entering either Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
