Move Your Pet to Canada
Let Air Animal Pet Movers® deal with the details transporting your pets into Canada and from Canada to the United States.
We can take care of:
- A complimentary microchip is included for all our clients.
- Rabies vaccination should be given at least 30 days before but less than 3 years before entry if the pet received the 3-year vaccine, less than 1-year if the annual vaccine was received.
- An interstate pet health certificate is required.
- We also help you with the documents you need to pick up your pet from customs: a photo of the pet and documents listed above required along with a copy of your passport.
After you move:
Please register with a local veterinarian to keep your pet's rabies vaccination up to date. Veterinarians typically send reminder notices when vaccinations are due.
Also consider having your U.S. veterinarian run a complete blood count, a differential and chem panel on your dog or cat before moving. Take the report with you to share with your new veterinarian. If another move is in your future, you and your pet will be ready.
