• We take care of helping you obtain a health certificate through your trusted veterinarian using Air Animal's streamlined health certificate.
• A pet microchip is required.
• Rabies vaccination should be given at least 30 days before but less than 3 years before entry if the pet received the 3-year vaccine. If your pet received a 1-year vaccine, travel must be within that 1-year time span.
• An International Health Certificate with USDA endorsement is not required.
• Air Animal will arrange a comfort stop in Puerto Rico before your pet flys on to the USVI.
• The USVI prohibits importing all reptiles including frogs, toads and snakes.

After you move:

Please register with a local veterinarian to keep your pet's rabies vaccination up to date. Veterinarians typically send reminder notices when vaccinations are due.

Also consider having your U.S. veterinarian run a complete blood count, a differential and chem panel on your dog or cat before moving. Take the report with you to share with your new veterinarian. If another move is in your future, you and your pet will be ready.
